Paddle Power Start & Paddle Power Passport

Three consecutive afternoons (1 pm - 4 pm) over the school holidays. The Start Award is the first level of Paddle Power covering safely getting on and off the water, learning some basic paddle skills and having fun whilst doing so. The Passport Award is based on four progressive levels covering 24 topics which can be grouped into Safety Awareness, Paddling Skills, Varied Experiences, and Supporting Knowledge.. Suitable for children aged between 9 and 16. Sessions are delivered by a Paddle Australia qualified Leader, with an emphasis on games and fun as a way to learn. All gear including sit on top kayaks, canoes, paddles, helmets and PFDs (Life jackets) are provided.  

Participants are required to wear comfortable clothing for water based activities (NO JEANS OR DOWN JACKETS) and bring a change just in case they get wet and a NUT FREE snack for afternoon tea.
