Flooding stops access to the Geelong Canoe Club

Published Sat 15 Oct 2022

Due to the current flooding of the Barwon River, access to the Geelong Canoe Club (GCC) is not possible.

GCC has a ground floor level at an average of 3.90 Australian Height Datum (AHD) - as at Saturday morning, 15 October, surrounding paths and roads are flooded and water has reached parts of the compound.

All measures within the GCC capacity have been taken to ensure craft is safe.
