The Barwon River around the Geelong Canoe Club will be closed to all users not involved in the Battle on the Barwon Dragon Boat Regatta. 

This covers the area from the 600-metre mark of the Barwon River Rowing Mile to upstream of an imaginary line from West Fyans Street.

River closure date: Sunday 18 August 2024

Time: 7.00 am to 2.30 pm
