CV Marathon “Ready to Race” Skills Clinic #1

Junior and U23 paddlers,

Canoeing Victoria Marathon will be running the first of three race skills clinics on Saturday, 10th March (the Labour Day long weekend) at Footscray Canoe Club, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The purpose of these clinics is to provide an opportunity for younger paddlers to train together with a wide group of paddlers from across the State, build your racing skills, and invigorate your enthusiasm for racing.

The cost is $30/paddler ($25 for early bird). Registration is via Webscorer at https://www.webscorer.com/register?raceid=126227

To participate you need to register beforehand; there is no registration on-the-day.

Please note: these clinics are not technique-focused sessions. They are intended to complement the formal training or coaching programs in which you may already be involved. Your coaches are welcome to attend.

The instructors for the clinics will be Mick and Kate Leverett, our CV Marathon Junior Development Coordinators.

We plan to hold clinics for masters and single-blade paddlers later in the year.

See the race flyer and program outline for more information.
