Barwon River water levels are rising significantly
‘Moderate’ flooding is expected on the Barwon, Leigh and Moorabool Rivers with the rain expected Thursday 13 October 2022. That is about 3.10 Australian Height Datum (AHD).
Geelong Canoe Club is situated on land adjacent to the Barwon River with a ground floor level at an average of 3.90 AHD. That's 0.8 metres below the expected level the river will reach.
The situation is closely being monitored. Information will be posted on social media and this website should the situation change.
