Geelong Canoe Club has a strong membership with people from many walks of life and with very individual paddling interests.
We are an affiliate club of Paddle Australia and Paddle Victoria. Where Paddle Australia and Paddle Victoria membership is involved you receive benefits such as personal accident and third party public liability protection as well as on water insurance when paddling or competing in an event.
A Geelong Canoe Club membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June. New members can join any time and will be charged a pro-rate rate to 30 June (for example; from 1 January – 6 months; from 1 April – 3 months). Conditions apply.
Benefits:
-Paddle Australia and Paddle Victoria registration including Paddle Australia insurance
-Full use of facilities and club equipment
-Excludes craft storage. Craft storage is available to club members by formal request and is subject to space availability at an additional cost of $50 per craft.
-Can join Synergise Health and Fitness Centre (additional fees apply)

Notes: Insurance
1. Email Geelong Canoe Club Memberships: Tell us that you’d like to join the club, what type of paddling you are interested in and your contact details. Do this before registering or paying – unknown registration requests can’t be approved.
2. We will contact you to arrange an introductory meeting.
3. Review and approval: After we’ve spoken to you we’ll review your membership requirements and contact you about the next steps.
Every year in June we’ll notify you when it’s time to renew, noting that payment will be due before 1 July. The 2024/25 membership year is currently open.
